Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary is the first and only 5-star traditional spa-inclusive resort in Bhutan. This remote hideaway is the perfect place to embrace the quiet. It sits with pride high up in the beautiful Neyphu valley in Paro against the backdrop of pine trees. Its aim is to offer its guests peace of mind, body and soul away from the frantic pace of life. The architecture is like of a traditional Bhutanese Dzong with the entrance leading to a beautiful inner courtyard. 
The resort features 24 rooms in minimalist style with traditional Bhutanese design. The Spa houses 6 treatment rooms for various wellness activities, a heated, indoor pool, a fitness centre, two jacuzzis, steam and sauna and a yoga studio. The restaurant with floor to ceiling windows serves delicious breakfasts, 4-course lunches and 6-course dinners in keeping with guest’s diet or personal preferences prepared by a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team. One can explore a collection of books on wellbeing, yoga and meditation in graceful library.

The resort is located just 20 mins away from Paro airport.

The elegantly decorated rooms provide all modern comfort and breathtaking views into the Neyphu valley from either a private balcony or terrace. All the rooms are plastic-free.

  • Balcony Room

    The intimate Balcony room has a combined bedroom and living area, decorated in an elegant traditional Bhutanese style. The room houses an inviting sitting area with a coffee table, sofa and comfortable chair. The floor to ceiling glass doors open to a private balcony – with outdoor furniture – from which guests have a beautiful view over the Neyphu Valley and the apple orchards around the Sanctuary. All rooms have a walk-in closet, a personal safe and high speed internet. The mini bar is refreshed every day and plenty of drinking water is available in glass bottles. The Balcony room has 46m2 of floor space and an 8m2 big balcony

  • Terrace Room

    The spacious on-suite Terrace room is elegantly decorated with traditional Bhutanese woodwork and materials befitting the surroundings. The room houses a comfortable sitting area, an intimate dinner table for two and a writing desk. The room has floor to ceiling glass doors that lead out to a terrace with outdoor furniture. The perfect spot to enjoy a hot cup of herbal tea and see the sun rise behind the majestic mountains surrounding the Sanctuary. All rooms have a walk-in closet, a personal safe and high speed internet. The mini bar is refreshed every day and plenty of drinking water is available in glass bottles. The Terrace room has 54m2 of floor space and an 8m2 big terrace.
