The Borgo San Felice combines all of the pleasures of La Dolce Vita.  It was founded around the VIII century and has hardly changed in time. In 1991 it was restored and transformed into a 5 star hotel keeping its rural imprint intact and consistent with the authenticity of the territory. The property consists of an entire medieval hamlet including an old chapel, large pool, cellars and the Chianti vineyards surrounding it. Surrounded by 140 hectares of vineyards with striking views, narrow streets, picturesque squares, a Romanesque chapel and shrines; the Borgo San Felice is one the most charming sites in the Chianti region. The hotel features 2 restaurants - the Michelin-starred Il Poggio Rosso offers gourmet cuisine and has a selection of over 500 fine wines. The more informal Osteria del Grigio offers modern Tuscan cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. There is also a bar on site. In summer, guests can enjoy a drink or a snack by the pool. The hotel's Spa stands in an area that used to be the ancient village olive press. Borgo San Felice offers two magnificent properties: Villa Casanova and Villa Colonna, both located no more than a few steps away from the village and are ideal for small groups or large families. 
Location

At the heart of Italy’s "boot”, the Borgo San Felice is located in the countryside of the Chianti region, just 15 kms from the historic city of Siena in Tuscany. It is only an hour’s drive from Florence.

Borgo San Felice offers 5 star luxury accommodations that include 29 Guest Rooms and 17 Suites scattered throughout the buildings of the historic village.

  • Superior room

    Looking out onto the hills and the old village streets, the rooms have Tuscan travertine floors, refined ceramic ware and the colours of the countryside, reminiscent of the typical Tuscan furnishing style. They have Smart TV, satellite channels, a safe, minibar and air conditioning. The bathrooms with Tuscan tiles have a bath tub or shower. Size: 22 square metres

  • Premium Deluxe Room

    With a view of the Siena countryside and of some of the most evocative corners of this fascinating village, the Premium Deluxe rooms harmoniously combine the Tuscan furnishing style with refined elegance. Precious Tuscan travertine floors, brightly coloured textiles and hand-crafted Tuscan ceramic ware add a touch of colour to these spacious rooms.

    The prestige rooms feature king or single beds. Curtains and furnishings in soft natural colours, spacious interiors, exposed ceiling beams and a view of the village. The typical style of the Chianti region is the distinctive mark of this type of suite.

    The vineyards and Siena countryside provide the natural backdr~op to this suite with an authentic Tuscan yet contemporary aura. Natural colours and exposed ceiling beams, travertine or oak wood floors and artfully crafted ceramic ware combine to welcome guests to a romantic suite in Tuscany.

  • The Woodshed Suite

    The Woodshed Suite, which features a lovely private garden. The suite spans two floors, creating a dynamic and spacious layout. It also includes a separate shower room and bathroom. As you relax in this beautiful space, picture the history of our Borgo coming to life, such as the Legnaia, originally used for storing firewood.

  • The Lodge Suite

    The Lodge Suite, where you can indulge in the most mesmerizing sunset views over the vineyards. This suite features a spacious first-floor terrace, adorned with intertwined vines, offering a stunning panorama of the entire Borgo, making it a truly special retreat.

  • The Olive Groves Suite

    The Olive Groves Suite features luxury furnishings and natural-toned fabrics that create a welcoming atmosphere. The suite includes a living room, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms with tub and shower.   • The herbs suite

    The herbs suite offers an elegant Tuscany experience with natural-toned furnishings and fabrics. Enjoy a glass of San Felice wine and delectable kitchen offerings in the private loggia overlooking the vineyards at sunset. This suite consists of a living room, private loggia, two bedrooms, and two spacious bathrooms with tub and shower, providing multifaceted living solutions.

  • The Pieve Suite

    The Pieve Suite offers a private patio for sipping wine and an exclusive relaxation area overlooking the olive trees and vineyards. The elegant travertine bathroom features products by Maria Candida Gentile, and a king-size bed promises restorative sleep.

  • Grand Suite

    The Grand suite offers a serene experience, allowing you to take in the sunrise over the Chianti vineyards from the terrace in the early morning. The light mist gradually lifts to reveal the enchanting profile of Siena, evoking a sense of "feeling good." With two bedrooms, it is perfect for sharing with friends or family. The bathrooms feature stone arches and ancient oak beams, adding to the historic charm of the village.

  • Villa Colonna

    Set against the unmistakable Tuscan landscape dotted with hundreds of olive trees, Villa Colonna is surrounded by a large garden with a private pool. It offers two bedrooms furnished in a warm and cosy colour palette, a sunny living room in the elegantly refined Tuscan style and a fully fitted kitchen with direct access to the patio area adjacent to the pool. Villa Colonna accommodates up to four guests but it also makes a perfect refuge for a couple.

  • Villa Casanova

    Just outside the village, positioned higher up than the vineyards and olive groves, stands Villa Casanova, with 3 well appointed apartments for a total of 9 rooms, complete with a large garden and outdoor pool: an alt~ernative solution for small groups of guests who wish to stay at Borgo San Felice in a more independent manner, while having access to the hotel services. Earthy Tuscan colours have been sel~ected for the fabrics, locally crafted ceramic tiles and exposed beams... you will be charmed by each detail of the décor.
