Overview

The 49-room Explora Patagonia is located on the shores of Lake Pehoe with stunning views of the granite peaks of the Torres del Paine in southern Patagonia. The setting is quiet, the surroundings are spacious, and landscape is romantic. The lodge features pioneering architecture in understated luxury, blending Scandinavian simplicity in gentle luxury. The focus on activities is strong with the excellent range of immersive, unforgettable local experiences. The food here is authentic and top class. The lodge has a spa, the Ona Spa, which features a heated, covered pool, sauna, and four open-air jacuzzis with views to the Paine River. There is also a bar which is a meeting point for guides and guests alike. Nature and adventure are at the forefront of Explora’s experience-driven ethos. 
Location

The hotel is located in the heart of the Torres del Paine National Park in southern Patagonia, on the shores of the beautiful turquoise Pehoé Lake. 

Rooms

Overview: The 49 rooms of Explora Patagonia are designed to make the best use of the privacy and spaciousness of the surrounding landscape. The idea is to disconnect from the mundane, which is why the rooms do not have televisions or Wi-Fi, which is only available in the common areas. The highlight of the hotel’s design is in its simple elegance. It was designed to create a dialogue with its environment, putting guests in touch with the sublimity of their surroundings.

  • Exploradores Suite:

    The hotel features 6 Exploradores suites, each measuring 42sqm (450 sq ft). These Suites offer beautiful views of Macizo del Paine. It has 1 King bed; two interconnecting Suites may be requested, subject to availability.

  • Salto Chico Room:

    There are 7 Salto Chico rooms, each measuring 28sqm (300 sq ft) with lovely vistas of the Salto Chico waterfall. It has 1 King bed or 2 Twin beds.

  • Cordillera Paine Room:

    36 Cordillera Paine rooms measuring 28sqm (300 sq ft). Views of Macizo del Paine. It has 1 King bed or 2 Twin beds; two interconnecting rooms may be requested, subject to availability.
