Surrounded by beautiful lush gardens on the sunlit banks of Lake Como, this 75 -room 19th century villa hotel was once the residence of the 19th-century opera singer, Giuditta Pasta. The modern version of this luxurious boutique hotel is stylish and artistic and wonderfully blends the old with the new. The 52 elegantly appointed suites, 21 guestrooms and 2 spectacular private villas blend modern Italian elegance with a subtle Oriental charm. The rooms are spacious, most with balconies or terraces with uninterrupted views of Lake Como. The Spa is stunning with an indoor pool, a glass floored lounge and large treatment rooms carved into the rock. The food at the 2 restaurants showcase exquisite Italian dining with sweeping lake views. The hotel has a suspended outdoor swimming pool with the lake as a backdrop. At night the pool transforms into a dancing fountain, set to arias and accompanied by light.

Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como is located in the picturesque village of Blevio, on the eastern shore of Lake Como. It is 50-minute drive from Milano Malpensa International Airport and a 70-minute drive from Milano Linate Airport

Built in the Neo-classical style typical of villas surrounding Lake Como, Villa del Lago is spread over four floors and has three bedrooms, a verdant garden, a terrace with an open-air whirlpool tub and a private dock on the lake. This villa offers both children and adults plenty of entertainment with a games room, table football and a wet bar. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow for great lake views, with a private kitchen, separate dining area, living room and library with fireplace on the ground floor.
