At Shangri-La's Hambantota Golf Resort & Spa, guests can unlock a world of wonder and discover the true spirit of Sri Lanka. Indigenous materials and contemporary style seamlessly blend with the luxurious interior comforts to create an elegant and private resort haven. The resort spans 58 hectares which include beautifully landscaped tropical gardens, 274 rooms and suites and a selection of 4 restaurants and bars. It also includes a Rodney Wright 18-hole championship golf course, which is the only resort course in the country. It also features Shangri la’s signature CHI spa and a village that celebrates local Artisans.  All 274 luxury rooms and suites offer magnificent views of the golf course, the resort’s tropical gardens or the calm waves of the Indian Ocean. There is plenty for younger guests too including the Cool Zone Kids' Club, the flying trapeze (with a trainer) and a water park with slides. It is also an excellent venue for small and big corporate and private events. In addition, it has 3 swimming pools including a 30m sunset pool and a free-form lagoon pool, as well as a private beach.
Location

Colombo International Airport is about 240 km from the resort, a journey of 4 hours by road.
