Settled in Madikeri Taluk, Tamara Coorg is a luxury resort sprawling across 180 acres and is located over 3,500 feet above sea level. This place truly defines a holiday experience in Coorg in the most fun filled way possible. The verdant shades of green, trekking trails, mountain air, fine food and living spaces makes it the ultimate escape. The resort focusses on providing unique, personalized experiences with the utmost respect to maintaining the bio-diversity of the region. To have this luxury experience nestled in thee hills along with the pleasures of cocktails on the deck, makes for a perfect getaway. A signature coffee lounge with the smell of the coffee-filled fresh mountain air is the morning dreams are made of.

 
Location

Tamara Coorg is just 180 km away from the Mangalore Airport, a 4 hours’ drive with pleasant view of the mountains. From Bangalore International Airport to The Tamara Coorg is approximately 310 km or 6 hours. It is easily accessible from Mysore on a 3 hour road trip.
 
Please Note: Children below 12 years of age do not have access to the resort owing to the steep gradient of the terrain.

    The Luxury Cottages offer a spectacular view of the surrounding greenery, while the interiors reflect the serenity of nature in subtle pastel tones. The room features bed on an elevated platform that adds a dramatic element and a spacious look to the living area. These cottages open to an east-facing private sundeck, an ideal spot to unwind at any time of day. (Size 56 sq. m)

  • Superior Luxury cottage

    The Superior Luxury Cottages are located at strategic vantage points, the room provides a majestic view of the surrounding forests and hills in the distance. The décor draws inspiration from nature and attributes an elegant look to the cottage. The cottage includes a private east-facing sundeck that allows you to soak in the early morning sun with a 180 degree view of the valley. The room features a king-size bed, a sprawling living area and every needed amenity which makes for a decadent stay experience.(Size 56 sq. m).

  • Suite Cottage

    The Suite Cottage expresses the joy of living large. The wall-to-wall wood paneling and the elegant color schemes recreate the soft hues of nature. The most private experience available at the resort, this cottage also features a magnificent view from the sundeck. This spacious accommodation includes a separate bedroom and a living area that will tempt you to spend your time in complete idleness. (Size 82 sq. m).

  • Eden Lotus Cottage

    The Eden lotus cottage is the most exclusive cottage at the resort and offers the largest, and the most private and decadent experience. The lavish interiors, subtle colors and elegant embellishments make for a truly luxurious experience. The cottage features two bedrooms with attached bathrooms, an expansive living room, and a private sundeck with a private Jacuzzi at the center, discretely hidden from the outside. The deck makes for a perfect setting for a lazy evening. (Size 82 sq. m).
