Dwarika's Hotel is a unique sanctuary located in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, preserving the architectural grandeur of the Newari civilization. Founded by Mr. Dwarika Das Shrestha, the hotel is a labor of love and a realization of architectural heritage conservation. Each artifact within the hotel is an original, intricately carved wooden treasure, reflecting the soul of Dwarika's. 

The peaceful courtyards and meticulously decorated spacious rooms offer a sumptuous lifestyle entrenched in Nepalese culture. Touted as an oasis in the midst of a bustling city, Dwarika's Hotel treats its guests like royalty, going beyond just being a hotel.

Dwarika’s Hotel Kathmandu features 80 meticulously designed rooms and suites, each blending Nepali design motifs with a contemporary lifestyle. The rooms pay tribute to Nepal’s artistic history while maintaining quality and luxury. The handmade terracotta tiles, handwoven upholstery, and organic linen showcase traditional Nepali living. Every room offers a view of Dwarika’s Courtyard.

  • Heritage Deluxe Room

    Heritage Deluxe Room stays true to the earthiness of traditional life in the valley, while offering modern comfort. The organically produced and handwoven linen, custom-designed handmade furniture, and en suite bathroom filled with natural light reflect our commitment to traditional craftsmanship. The bathroom features a bathtub carved with a traditional Newari design, a separate shower, and a toilet to ensure ample space. Facing a charming courtyard with a spectacular view, the room provides a front-row seat to the sunset and an outdoor view, offering guests a close-to-nature experience.

  • Heritage Junior Suite

    The Heritage Junior Suite, featuring 42 uniquely designed and luxurious suites incorporating local materials like pottery, slate, and brass. Each suite offers a comfortable living area, king-sized bed, and a distinct personality, providing a one-of-a-kind experience. The ensuite bathroom is stocked with natural Himalayan products, and includes a traditional Newari intricate design on the bathtub for a relaxing experience.

  • Heritage Executive Suite

    The Heritage Executive Suite is a luxurious and expansive accommodation that artfully blends traditional style with modern convenience. The suite features a king-sized bed, an elegant living area with a daybed and writing desk, and special amenities such as a personal computer. Guests can enjoy spectacular views of the courtyard and swimming pool from the suite. The large en suite bathroom is adorned with a traditional Newari design and includes a bathtub and a dressing room, adding a touch of grandeur to the space..

  • Royal Suite

    The Royal Suite is a 250sq.m , multi-floor accommodation inspired by the Malla kings' private abodes. It includes a private open-air terrace, a separate living area, and an entrance foyer, offering endless views of the Nepali vista. The suite's 50-square-meter bathroom is intricately designed in the traditional Newari style and provides ample natural light, perfect for relaxation.
