Overview

The Refinery Hotel is a striking 12-storey building built in 1912, in the heart of New York’s Fashion District. It is surrounded by designers' studios and fashion specialty shops. It's the working, rather than residential, part of midtown Manhattan. 

The chic décor and artistic ambience throughout the Refinery Hotel New York reflects the building’s rich history. The hotel houses its own gastronomic micro world: a prohibition style "tea” lounge, a world class silver coffee trailer, a signature restaurant, and a rooftop bar divided into three distinct sections. Refinery has a 3,500-square-foot year-round terrace with views of the Empire State Building and city skyline and three distinct public spaces—the inside fountain and fireplace, an open-air lounge, and the main bar area with a retractable skylight.
Location

The Refinery Hotel stands in midtown Manhattan in the heart of the Fashion District, blocks from Bryant Park, the theatre district, Times Square, and the Empire State Building in New York City. It is located 17 miles from New York's John F Kennedy, 16 Miles from Newark Liberty and 9 miles from LaGuardia Airports.

Rooms

The hotel has 197 custom furnished rooms, paying homage to its industrial past. All rooms have WiFi, i-Home docking stations, LCD HD TVs and full cable. The loft-like rooms are inspired by the original hat-making factories of the Fashion District. Sewing machines from the 1900’s are referenced in the desks and coffee tables are reminiscent of old factory carts. Chocolate and white are the dominant colours

    Studio Queen with Queen bed, custom artwork, distressed hardwood floors and 12 feet ceilings with large windows that open. Writing desk designed to resemble early 1900’s sewing machines are just one of the custom furnishings within the room. 42 inch TV, frette linens, i-home docking stations are standard amenities in every room. The bathrooms have a walk-in rain shower with wall-hanging commode. Room size 250 square feet.

    Studio King Industrial chic, with King bed, custom artwork, distressed hardwood floors and 12 feet ceilings with large windows that open. Writing desk designed to resemble early 1900’s sewing machines are just one of the custom furnishings within the room. 42 inch TV, frette linens, i-home docking stations are standard amenities in every room. Room size 280 square feet.

    The Empire State King room is a spacious and stylish accommodation that boasts a single King bed and 37 sqm of space. The room features soaring 12-foot concrete ceilings, dark-brushed oak floors, and expansive windows offering breathtaking views of the iconic Empire State Building. Each room is uniquely designed with custom furnishings and high-end toiletries by Le Labo.

  • Deluxe Double Queen

    The Deluxe Double Queen room offers a spacious 40 to 41 sqm of space with two comfortable Queen beds. The room features high ceilings, dark-brushed oak floors, and large windows offering stunning city views. Each room is thoughtfully designed with custom furnishings and premium toiletries by Le Labo. The unique industrial accents reflect the building's history as a 20th-century millinery, creating an artistic ambience. This room can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests.

  • Atelier

    The Atelier room is a spacious loft featuring a king bed and a full living area in 39 to 41 sqm of open space. With soaring 12-foot concrete ceilings, dark-brushed oak floors, and expansive windows offering city views, this room exudes an artistic ambience. . Each room is adorned with custom furnishings and curated Le Labo toiletries, offering a unique touch. Accommodating a maximum of 2 guests, this room is the perfect blend of history and modern comfort.
