The Zambezi Queen Collection focuses on a unique cruising & lodging experience. The Zambezi Queen is a luxury floating hotel, Chobe Princesses is a river safari experience & Ichingo Chobe River Lodge is Impalila island’s tented camp. 

Zambezi Queen is a luxury floating hotel with constant views of the wildlife enjoying the Chobe River. traverses from Botswana, across the Chobe River, to the Namibian side of the Chobe River. As you unwind on the lavish decks, there are incredible opportunities to see exciting game. 

Chobe Princesses give you a chance to spot incredible wildlife scenes as you drift down the Chobe River. With only a small number of guests per boat staying in one of the three Chobe Princesses it feels like being on your very own houseboat. If booked exclusively, it also gives you a feeling of a very own private villa on the water. 

Ichingo Chobe River Lodge offers the ideal location to experience all that the Chobe has to offer with the added benefit of being on the Namibian side of the river. Quieter, more secluded and personalised the lodge is ideal for families, couples or groups. The lounge, bar and open air-dining room set above the flowing waters of the Chobe River provide the ultimate African experience.

Location

The Zambezi Queen boat cruises on Chobe River (Botswana, South Africa) departing from Kasane. You’ll first arrive at the Zambezi Queen via a short tender boat ride from the Kasane Immigration Office. 
Chobe Princesses: From Kasane Immigration Office (KIO) be transferred by a tender boat to the Namibian Immigration Office before starting your journey on the river. 
Ichingo Chobe river lodge: It is located on Impalila Island on the Namibian side of the Chobe River. It lies at the confluence of the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers

  • Zambezi Queen

    Zambezi Queen offers luxury accommodation in the form of 14 luxurious suites – ten standard suites and four spacious master suites, all with outer decks so you can soak up the Chobe River breeze and African landscape. Standard Suite – The standard suite (10 in number) come with en-suite bathrooms (shower only) and full-length sliding shutters for both privacy and protection from the sun. Hairdryers, toiletries, gowns and slippers are provided for your comfort, while electronic safes in each room are ideal for storing your valuables. All suites accommodate two adults, and two of the larger standard suites can take a maximum of three adults. Master Suite – The master suites (4 in number) let you relax and unwind in a luxurious setting as they are slightly bigger and have larger balconies that house two deckchairs and a table for your viewing pleasure. King size bed with an en-suite bathroom (shower only). The master suites feature both side and front sliding doors for a truly panoramic view of your surroundings. Each suite was designed with the warm climate in mind equipped with air-conditioning and room fans to ensure you keep cool.

  • Chobe Princesses

    Chobe Princesses offers a small number of guests per boat staying in one of the three Chobe Princesses. It gives a feeling of being on your very own houseboat. If booked exclusively, it also gives you a feeling of a very own private villa on the water. They have two types of cabins – Standard & Superior. Standard Cabin: Lie in bed and take in the breath-taking views of the river and surrounding landscapes from large sliding windows. Two of the houseboats contain four cabin suites, with five cabin suites on the slightly larger houseboat. Cabins are fitted with basic essentials including king or twin beds, air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms. Superior Cabin: Take in panoramic views across the river from your private balcony. The superior cabins are fully equipped with everything needed throughout your stay, from air-conditioning to mosquito-proofed windows and en-suite bathrooms with showers. Enjoy private dining on request in our top cabin for an unforgettable romantic dining experience.

  • Ichingo Chobe River Lodge

    Ichingo Chobe River Lodge lets you stay in either standard tents or family tents. While standard tents give you all the excitement of a safari adventure in Africa, coupled with the ultimate in comfort, family tents are perfect for families travelling with kids. Standard Tent: The eight large Meru safari tents give you all the excitement of a safari adventure in Africa, coupled with the ultimate in comfort. Your large air-conditioned safari tent comes complete with a king-size bed which can be configured into twin beds, a dressing table, bedside lamps, chairs and an en-suite bathroom (shower only). Enjoy your own private balcony with director chairs and bench for relaxing and unwinding while listening to the flowing Chobe River. Family Tent: If you’re traveling with young children, our family tent consists of one main tent adjacent to a smaller children’s tent – so as a parent you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your children are nearby, but still get to relax in your own space. The main tent has an en-suite bathroom and contains either a double or twin beds. The adjacent children’s tent contains two bunk beds (i.e. four single beds) that are ideal for children under 12, and it also has its own bathroom.
